The series of major winter storms cut power to thousands, flooded entire neighborhoods, toppled trees and unleashed debris flows. The flooding resulted in millions of dollars of damage to homes, agricultural land and businesses. Residents continue to be displaced.

Nearly 1,600 structures have been destroyed and one person has died in wildfires in Santa Cruz and Monterey County. The fires have consumed 269,919 acres and local residents continue to be displaced.
