WDJT (CBS 58) and WMLW (The M), Weigel Broadcasting’s CBS and independent stations in Milwaukee, respectively, debut Deer Wisconsin, a 30-minute lifestyle program centered around the food, fun, entertainment and people making Milwaukee’s Deer District an amazing place.
Deer Wisconsin premieres Sunday, April 7, at 10:30 p.m. on CBS 58 and at 9:30 on The M. The series runs Sundays through June 30.
“You don’t have to know basketball to enjoy Deer Wisconsin,” says Anne Brown, the station’s GM. “Nicole and Anthony are the perfect personalities to show viewers around Deer District.
Hosts Nicole Sedivy and Anthony Foster take viewers to spots around Deer District that even superfans haven’t seen before.
“With a select number of Bucks games now airing on WMLW, Deer Wisconsin is a perfect companion piece, showcasing all the fun around Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee,” Brown says.
Nicole Sedivy knows Milwaukee, and she especially knows its sports stars. A native of Muskego, she has been a fixture at Milwaukee Brewers games as in-stadium host. Sedivy also serves as a host at Wisconsin Admirals hockey and Wisconsin Badgers basketball games.
Anthony Foster has only been heard by Milwaukee audiences as a DJ at HYFIN, Milwaukee’s urban alternative online radio service from WYMS-FM. A fan of the genuine diversity and warmth of the people Milwaukee, Anthony’s energy for his hometown bursts through the screen when he’s talking with the characters of Deer District.
