Veteran marketing and creative executive Drew Fowler has been named marketing director for Nexstar Media’s Indianapolis businesses: WXIN (Fox 59), WTTV (CBS 4) and their respective websites.
Fowler assumes his new role after a three-year hiatus from the local television business. During that time, he was director of brand engagement and creative solutions for Vitalant, a national nonprofit blood donation organization.
Prior to Vitalant, Fowler was marketing and creative director for several Sacramento, Calif., stations including KOVR and KXTV.
During this time, Fowler’s teams were some of the most decorated marketing teams in the nation, winning numerous national and local awards.

Dominic Mancuso, WXIN-WTTV VP-GM, said: “Drew was an outstanding find, having recently relocated to the Indianapolis area from California. He is well versed in all facets of television station marketing, and we’re excited to welcome him to the Nexstar team as we work to build upon our exceptional success”
As a child, Fowler spent many fond years living in the southern Indiana city of Columbus, attending Columbus North High School.
“I’m excited to be back home again in Indiana,” Fowler says. “Joining the Nexstar family is a dream. I can’t wait to meet them all, as well as roll up my sleeves and get to work.”
