Funniest Promos Nominated For Promax Gold

So far, we’ve seen the General Branding/Image: News Station Image awards in markets large, medium and small, the finalists up for best weather promo, and the nominees in the news image category in markets large, medium and small. Now, it’s the funniest promos nominated to possibly win gold by Promax.

Being funny is serious work. And let’s face it, local TV news promos are rarely funny, like laugh-out-loud funny. They can be amusing, light-hearted, clever, cute, witty, odd, and maybe even comical, but it’s just not a category that usually lends itself to gut-busting funny. Like beer.

No problem. As we prepare for the Promax Station Summit in Las Vegas in just a few days, Market Share has been showing the spots nominated by the Promax judges in a variety of categories, one of which will ultimately be declared the best.

Winners will be announced during the Station Summit at a luncheon at The Mirage in Las Vegas on Thursday, June 23. Promax has generously given Market Share access to all the nominations.
