The Mel Robbins Show, a new one-hour syndicated talk show airing five days a week with Mel Robbins as host, is launching on Sept. 16 nationwide.
Sony Pictures Television (SPT) has signed with Tribune Media to launch the program, and with the addition of Nexstar Media Group, the show will clear 90% of US television households.
The list of station groups joining Nexstar Media Group and Tribune Media in carrying the show includes CBS, Cox, Hubbard Broadcasting, Meredith Corporation, Scripps and Weigel Broadcasting.
Robbins is the most booked female speaker in the world and an international best-selling author whose work has been translated into 36 languages.
This January, a quarter of a million people took part in her free 30-day Mindset Reset program online. Robbins will now bring her distinctive brand of inspiration into households across America.
“For years, I’ve seen the impact of the work I’ve been doing with people on a one-on-one basis,” said Robbins.
“It’s been my privilege to help transform their lives. I am excited to now have the opportunity to share my coaching and life strategies with millions of people, giving them the tools to unpack what gets them stuck and push them through difficult moments.”
According to SPT representatives this week at the Promax Station Summit in Las Vegas, 1800 people have written to be guests on the show to receive coaching from Mel Robbins.
“We admire Mel Robbins,” said Tim Busch, Nexstar’s president, “and her ability to connect with families all across this nation. Through her distinctive style and ability to provide straightforward every day advice, Mel’s engagement and connection with America is unparalleled.”
