Yesterday in San Diego was proclaimed FOX 5 News Day to help the station celebrate its 10th anniversary. “We are very committed to the San Diego community and to our many loyal viewers,” said KSWB’s general manager.
KSWB was given the honor of having yesterday proclaimed as FOX 5 News Day in San Diego.
The Tribune-owned Fox affiliate was recognized for its “exceptional news coverage for the community and connecting and engaging the diverse lifestyles of San Diegans through news, entertainment, live sports, social networking and community involvement.”

“As we celebrate FOX 5 San Diego’s 10th anniversary, we are very thankful to the San Diego City Council and Mayor Kevin Faulconer for proclaiming August 1 as the official FOX 5 News Day,” said Scott Heath, KSWB’s general manager.
