WPIX’s David Hyman, the station’s VP of marketing and creative services, will be inducted into the NY NATAS Silver Circle, an honor bestowed on those who have devoted a quarter of a century or more to the television industry and have made significant contributions to the New York television market.

WPIX’s David Hyman, the station’s VP of marketing and creative services, will be inducted into the the NY NATAS Silver Circle in a ceremony on Nov. 29. WPIX is Tribune’s CW affiliate in New York.
The honor is bestowed by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, New York Chapter, which recognizes individuals who have devoted a quarter of a century or more to the television industry and have made significant contributions to the New York television market.
Hyman, who joined WPIX in 2014, is responsible for all marketing, brand development, creative direction, production, media strategy and execution for the station.
Prior to joining WPIX, Hyman served as vice president, creative director for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and as vice president creative services and programming for WNBC New York.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Hyman has won many prestigious awards including 15 Promax International Gold Medallion awards, 16 New York Emmy awards, seven New York State Broadcaster awards, the GLAAD Media award and NATPE’s National Iris award for best public service campaign in North America/the United States.
