WNCN, Nexstar’s CBS affiliate in Raleigh, N.C., announced it’s rebranding to CBS 17 and the change is reflected in a new logo, new set, new apps and new on-air graphics.
“The significant investment made to upgrade all aspects of our station’s local news programming, website platform and mobile apps is the latest example of how CBS 17 is delivering on our promise to provide exceptional cross-platform content and enhanced service,” said Byron Grandy, WNCN’s general manager.
“A new news set and production capabilities allow us to go big when needed but also blend strong visual storytelling with our exceptional team of journalists. In addition, we launched a new and improved design for our station’s website that will provide a best-in-class user experience and increased engagement with our local content,” Grandy added.
