KING, Tegna’s NBC affiliate in Seattle, earned a national Edward R. Murrow Award from the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) for its year-long investigative series, Back of the Class. As a result of the investigation, funding for special education has become a top priority for lawmakers in the state of Washington this year.
