Cami Anthony, managing editor at WFMY, Tegna’s CBS affiliate in the Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem, N.C., market, is being promoted to marketing director effective June 1.
Anthony previously served as assistant news director, executive producer and filled several other newsroom roles at WFMY News 2.
She first came to the station 14 years ago, after graduating from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
“Cami knows news and our community inside and out,” says Larry Audas, WFMY’s GM. “That she will use deep experience and grow the marketing side of our audience focus is a huge plus,” Audas says.
“She’s a pro, genuinely cares, and will further connect our brand with the WFMY family of viewers, consumers and clients.”

Anthony, her husband and daughter reside in the Triad area and are part of several church and community mentorship groups.
