The annual event has become a tradition for many Central Coast viewers. People made their donations, saw some of their favorite KSBW Action News 8 anchors, and enjoyed seasonal entertainment during the eight-hour event held on Friday, Dec. 6. All donations stay local and help area families who need assistance.
“Once again our Central Coast community answered the call to make a tangible difference in the lives of those less fortunate” said Joseph W. Heston, KSBW’s general manager.
The Salvation Army administers all donations across the Central Coast. Local residents and families in need will have a happier holiday with donations of new and unwrapped toys, clothing, blankets, food, bottled water, and monetary help.
Sponsors of KSBW’s 33rd annual Share Your Holiday helped make the collection sites and live broadcast possible. Salinas McDonald’s, Graniterock, First Alarm, California Giant Berry Farms and Heritage Bank of Commerce supported the project.
