The May Heroes series will celebrate and spotlight people from different backgrounds across the Greater Houston area who are making a difference in the communities.
KPRC, Graham Media’s CBS affiliate in Houston, is celebrating “May Heroes” this month with live broadcasts from remote locations using HITCH, the station’s new mobile stage unit.
The month kicked off with an afternoon of live broadcasts from the Texas Medical Center on May 6.
“We can’t say enough about the local heroes serving our communities,” says Jerry Martin, KPRC’s GM.
“The May Heroes remotes are just a small way of showing our gratitude to the men and women who save our lives, teach our children, and serve our country.”
The May Heroes series will celebrate and spotlight people from different backgrounds across the Greater Houston area who are making a difference in the communities.
WWBT, Gray’s NBC affiliate in Richmond, VA has an immediate opening for a Technical Media Producer (TMP). A TMP combines the roles of a traditional newscast director and master control operator. A successful candidate will have experience switching live television, be it in a newscast or a master control setting.
